I'd say I'm just a little over half finished with the album or EP (can't decide..what to call it).
Gotta finish some more vocal re-dubs, record one song, and then mix the entire thing.
The mixing process is the hardest because it's the least I know about and the most work...It's those little production tricks that make an album sound crisp and clean and professional.
I've been having this obsession with J Dilla lately...so the album was always going feature my delving into production, but now even more so. I'm looking at 4-6 instrumental songs in addition to the "normal" songs.
I wish I could just put everything I have up right now but that'd be no way to promote! I have a plan - and you'll see it in action soon enough.
